Sword Hair Sticks With the Hilt Left Showing
The blade is a slim European longsword, ridged down its length and tapering to a rounded point. Above it the guard curls into a loop of knotted metal, then the grip is wrapped in colored cord running up to a small crowned pommel. From that pommel hangs a short chain with a faceted teardrop stone. At 7.6 inches it runs longer than most hair sticks, which is the point: it crosses a thick bun completely and still leaves the whole hilt on display.
The Drop Stone Moves When You Do
That hanging stone is what people notice second. It sits past the pommel on its own short chain, catching light on its own schedule while the blade stays still. Two colorways are silver: one with a black grip and a red drop, one green throughout. The other four are gold, with purple, red, black or white grips. The stick holds by tension against the twist rather than by clamping, so a single pass through a bun lasts a full day of walking.
On the Dagger Hair Pin the whole lunar cycle runs down the blade, waxing crescent to full to waning.
